When I started writing this book, I wasn't sure where it was going to go or what I would do with it. It simply began as a Covid project. It was just a way for me to focus my mind on something other than the chaos that was going on around the world. Yet the more I continued writing, the more I realized I wanted to share my experience with the world. I'm not always the best at expressing myself verbally, but when I write, everything seems to flow so much more naturally. This book goes straight to my heart and reveals the joys and struggles of life as a aid worker abroad.
